With 40 years' experience within the motor industry, Mike Pettitt of Mr Cars is on hand with plenty of help and advice for his new and existing customers, most of whom are local and have bought from him through word of mouth recommendations and previous business.
Born in Southport, sole owner Mike has gained a good reputation in the 30 years within the motor industry in the town and an additional 10 years in the service area of motoring in Canada.
"I learnt the importance of the motor aftersales service when I worked for General Motors in Toronto and I strongly believe in providing that same high quality service here at Mr Cars," says Mike.
"Whilst it is impossible to cover for every eventuality on a pre-owned car, the warranties I provide are very fair. However, I do encourage people to come and see me, even if they have a problem outside of the warranty period, and I can usually come up with an equitable soluion," said Mike.

Mike continued: "Since the credit crunch it's been hard for some people to obtain finance, but now we have a few more finance options available for customers, so, even if you weren't accepted last year, you might be able to get a finance deal now."
